Progressing Ballet Technique Workshop
You spoke, we heard - PBT with Debbie is returning on Saturday, 6 July, 1100 - 1230.
What is PBT? It is an innovative program designed by one of Australia's leading ballet teachers, Marie Walton-Mahon, for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in order to achieve their personal best in classical ballet. When combined with regular and consistent class attendance, PBT can will help you gain an anatomical and practical understanding of your body's movements when executing ballet technique.
Workshop participants will need to bring the following equipment:
- fitball (appropriate to your height) + pump
- soft ball (medium size, 20-23cm)
- lacrosse ball
- yoga mat.
You will only need the equipment listed above; more information about these items can be found on the PBT website. Please note, there is no spare equipment at the studio!
This workshop is open to all 6P students; the movement knowledge you will gain from this workshop can be applied across most dance styles taught at 6P. RAD and Pre-Pointe students are particularly encouraged to participate.
Normal drop-in class costs apply. Head to our online timetable to book your spot!

We continue the tradition - Katherine is back for Repertoire Workshops on Wednesday, 10 and 17 July, 1930 - 2030.
Here is your opportunity to learn the Aurora Act III variation from the iconic Sleeping Beauty. Classic, timeless and beautiful - its also fantastic for working your turnout.
